Getting Started with Devices and Alerts in Telsen

For Company Admins - install, configure, and keep your team notified in real time.


Install Sensors

Two options:

Choice is confirmed during contract setup. Once installed, switch on all sensors to begin configuration.


Configure Device Parameters

Devices → Configure

Set for each device:

  • Temperature Range – acceptable limits

  • Alert Timing – trigger if out of range for 0, 30, or 60 mins

  • Recipients – assign who receives alerts


Set Up Notifications

Profile → Notifications

Delivery options:

  • Email → to your registered address

  • Push → via the Telsen mobile app

Recommendation: enable both options for full coverage.


Configure Notification Digest

  • Immediately (default): alerts triggered instantly

  • Every X hours: grouped in batches

  • Daily: single daily update

⚠️ Keep critical alerts on Immediately.


Check Device Settings

  • Ensure notifications are enabled on your phone

  • Confirm Do Not Disturb/Focus modes aren’t blocking

  • Verify Telsen app permissions are active


Troubleshooting

  • Preferences saved in Telsen?

  • Email and mobile details correct?

  • App notifications enabled on iOS/Android?
